Another National Title Goes Back to Gainesville

Give it up for Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators. For the last month, the BCS champs had to hear all the reasons they should not be in the title game and were told they had no chance against the Buckeyes. There is a lot of crow being eaten as I write this blog!!!! The Gators defense was outstanding and showed why the SEC is considered the toughest conference in the game. The Buckeyes were held to just 82 yards of total offense and Heisman winner Troy Smith was completely shut down by the speedy Gators......4-14 throughout the air and sacked 5 times.....Meanwhile, you got to be impressed with the way Chris Leak closed out his career at Florida. After ups and downs throughout out his tenure as a Gator, Leak was named MVP and gives Gator Nation their first National Title since 1996.......

....Gator Nation will be celebrating through out the night.... Stan Heath and company can damper the mood in Gainesville by upsetting the Defending National Champs on the hard court.
