Purple Dogs chasing rings
Well it seemed like the hard part was over at Fayetteville. For the first time in school history, the Purple Dogs took home the state title in football. What an incredible year for Daryl Patton's club, and now they find themselves facing another opponent: money. The cost to get the team state championship rings is 35,000 dollars. So far, the school has raised about 12,000, and the Bank of Fayetteville donated another 1,000 to the cause.
We hope the team reaches its goal, and gets their bling bling. Each one of those players deserve to sport a ring to commemorate their achievement. So help out if you can!
