Local Sports held hostage...

I think Dave Van Horn could burn down Baum Stadium tomorrow, and it wouldn't matter. Right now the entire Arkansas sports world is being held hostage by the crisis that is the search for a new basketball coach. There's no doubt, the way the Gillispie debacle has unfolded makes you wish to be a fly in the wall of Frank Broyles' office.
What is going on? There are rumors that Gillispie could still be in the fold; or there is the rumor that JFB might have no choice but to sign a mid-major coach again (if all the top names say no thanks).
For us media types... it's a constant stage of paranoia waiting to see who will get the job, and when the mainstream public will find out. The longer it goes on... the bigger payoff fans will want in the hire.
