Gillispie Appears to be the Favorite

Texas A&M's Billy Gillispie appears to be the UofA's first choice for it's next head basketball coach. University officials have been in contact with those close to Gillispie though no official discussions have taken place with the Head Aggie. Here's the tricky part. Even if Gillispie has been offered the job, A&M still has a chance to counter the offer. Aggieland has some deep pockets and will throw out a lot of dough to keep their coach. Will it come down to money? Is A&M truly committed to basketball? There's no question that Arkansas is committed and that might be why Gillispie leaves Texas for the Hill.
