Family Feud In Norman Has Ties To Fayetteville?
The folks at The Daily Oklahoman apparently got a call from an OU baseball player disgruntled because the university had either decided to not give him his release or was hesitant to.
The player: Kody Kaiser.
The Sooner outfielder was an instrumental part of a Sooners team that made it to the super regionals last season. His uncle is Sonny Golloway, the Oklahoma coach.
That's right. Kaiser wants to transfer from a Sooners club led by his uncle. There's likely a much longer story than meets the eye here, but I think it would be fair to say there's a family feud happenin' in Norman.
According to the story though, and according to sports radio in Oklahoma City, Kaiser is very interested in joining the Diamond Hogs. No word whether Kaiser has contacted the University of Arkansas. Perhaps it's just speculation; however, UA would be getting a very solid player in Kaiser should these rumors prove true.
