Nice evaluation of Tony Ugoh...
The former Hog got thrust into the limelight his rookie season with the Colts. Tarik Glenn retired in the summer, and the 2nd round pick is now faced with protecting Peyton Manning all year at tackle. One game is in the books, and the reviews are glowing for the former Hog. Check out what the Sporting News had to say:
Indianapolis: Ugoh eased any concerns about his ability to replace the retired Tarik Glenn as Peyton Manning's backside protector. He wasn't flawless in the opener against the Saints, but neither was he a liability while working against defensive end Will Smith. Ugoh showed outstanding athleticism and mobility in run blocking and held up in pass protection. (Mike Chappell for SN) Fantasy Source spin: This is a good sign for Manning owners. The departure of Glenn was a concern entering the season, but Ugoh appears to be up to the task.
