Arkansas Baseball
Great weekend for the Diamond Hogs. A disastrous Friday was followed up with a gut-check win on Saturday and a great defensive performance that led to another win Sunday.
The Hogs have lost just a single SEC series this year in part because Dave Van Horn says they don't get rattled. The also get a lot of that confidence from their coach.
Before the 10th inning on Saturday, DVH told them if they won the game, they would win the series. Moments later Danny Hamblin crushed a home run that clinched it and Arkansas would take the series on Sunday. It's pretty evident DVH's confidence and attitude rubs off on his players. It has since the first day he came back to Fayetteville.
So here comes the season stretch. The Hogs are once again in contention for a championship. They lead the SEC. But can they bring home the first SEC title under DVH?
