Sooners and Cardinals say No, Mustain Visits Tulsa

On Wednesday, several reports came out of Oklahoma that Mitch Mustain would be in Norman for a visit on Thursday. The visit never happened and sources out of the Sooner state told us OU was satisfied with the quarterbacks already on campus. After word got out regarding the "no-show" in Norman, Tulsa radio stations began reporting Mustain was on the Golden Hurricanes campus for a visit. We contacted the Tulsa SID office and they could not comment on whether the reports were true, but they did confirm they had received the compliance paperwork which would allow the recruiting process to begin. Now that Mustain has been released, he is considered a recruit which brings NCAA rules into the picture. Those rules prohibit Tulsa from commenting on Mustain's status until he is enrolled or signs a letter of intent. Also on Thursday, Louisville released a statement saying they have no interest in recruiting the former Hog. It looks more and more like Mustain will once again be joining his high school coach.
