Gus Malzahn to Tulsa

40/29 has confirmed that Hogs offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn is leaving Arkansas for a similar position with the University of Tulsa. Shocking news from the Hill, as this is the latest in a series of high profile news involving Springdale High alums. First, the parents meeting with Frank Broyles over the direction of the program; the sudden transfer of wide receiver Damian Williams to USC before the bowl game; and now this, a first-year offensive coordinator out of high school leaving the SEC for the smallest Division 1 program in the country. Disturbing times for the Razorback football program.
