Some really good, a little bad.

Well, the train keeps on rolling. And this week Arkansas rolled through Starkville and escaped with a 28-14 victory. What's really impressive (other than winning on the road in a place that historically has given the Hogs trouble) is how the Razorbacks were able to pull it off. The Bulldogs were determined to stop Darren McFadden, and they did: on offense. But D-Mac also returns kicks, and his 92 yard touchdown return was a key. So was Chris Houston. The Hogs best cover corner had 2 key interceptions, one for a score, to help propel the Hogs to victory. So on a day when the offense was, a little off, Arkansas found other ways to score and grind out a win. It's a sign that this program has turned the corner, and great teams find ways to win even when they aren't great that day.
So the Hogs win the West, clinch a spot in the SEC title game against Florida, and have now won an astonishing 10 straight games. But there is no denying this team is tired and completely banged up. Matt Hewitt, Peyton Hillis, Stephen Parker, the list goes on and on. Not to mention LSU is looming on a short week. These next two weeks Arkansas will be tested like never before. The Tigers and Gators are arguably the two best teams they will face all year. These next two games will test everyone- players, coaches, trainers, you name it. And if the Hogs can win them both, they will have made a strong case for a shot at Ohio State and a National Championship. But first things first: enjoy the turkey on Turkey Day and get ready for an absolute war in War Memorial on Friday!
