Derek eats Crowe

If you'll scroll down the blog a bit, you'll see my 26 reasons why Detroit will win the World Series. Obviously, those reasons and that prediction were a little off. Ok, way off.

The Cards wrapped up the Series in five games on Friday night, and now I'm here to take my punishment. It was nothing against the Redbirds, I just thought Detroit was the better team.
Now, not to make excuses, but that layoff after the ALCS was a huge hill to climb for the Tigers. They came out rusty, made errors, and just lacked the consistency of St. Louis. Plus, the Cards pitching peaked at just the right time.

So, here I am, fresh off a full plate of crowe, and I am stuffed! I mean when you give 26 reasons somebody will lose, then your'e proved wrong, well, that deserves several helpings.

Now for my next prediction. Why the Cowboys will run the table and win the Super Bowl. That's gonna take a while to compose.......
