The Mustain Era begins!

Hogs returned to the practice field today.. couple of interesting comments from Houston Nutt.

On Mustain: "Just like everything he has done since he got here, he has been very mature, very focused," Nutt said. "He doesn’t say much and I like that. He is a great listener."

My take: Mustain is cool as ice. He might make the mistakes of a true freshman, but I doubt he will get rattled easy, and his progression will be amazing to watch. A star in the making.

On RoJo: "I’ll tell you his (Johnson’s) attitude has been unbelievable," Nutt said. "He has been a great example, especially for our younger people. To see a guy that has been around for a long time and played quarterback, to step out there and really focus hard on playing flanker was a tremendous example of a team player."

My take: Johnson doesn't have much choice. Either sulk and leave the team, or suck it up and try to play a role as a wide receiver. It will be interesting to see of Johnson gets on the field, and in what capacity (garbage time, crunch time). Hey, at the end of the day... the kid gets a full ride to an SEC school and will have a degree waiting for him. He's still a winner in my book.

Stay tuned... more this week.
