The hit on Mitch
We slowed it down last night and it was incredible to see his head snap back like he just ran into a brick wall. Poor kid. But hey, that's part of football.
As for the game, 20-0 over Utah State, the natives will once again be restless this week. That's to be expected, I guess. Part of me says Hog fans will gripe about anything and everything involving this program, right or wrong.
But the other part says they've watched their team win nine games over the last two years, so let 'em gripe all they want. Winning is habitual. But unfortunately, so too is losing.
Don't really know where I'm going with this, but the entire SEC schedule is still there for the taking. It's trial by fire, but Mitch will get better each week. I bet he looks 10 times more comfortable next Saturday. I expect a close game at Vanderbilt, I'll go with a Hog win, 21-14.
