From the audience... on the new Springdale minor league team:
Since there is a "diamond" in baseball, and since Arkansas is the Diamond State, then I think the name of the team should be the Diamond Cutters. And if that is too long, how about the Springdale Gems? Thanks for letting me submit. - JP Morgan
My take- That's a pretty good idea... think of how many jewelry stores would have billboards along the outfield wall?! You could have a "Diamond night"... free cubic zirconia to the first 1,000 at the ballpark! The possiblities are endless.
