Frenzy roundup... Week 2
Here is a brief recap from Week 2 of the Frenzy. Remember, you can watch the show on our website www.thehometownchannel.com if you missed it. Ok, here we go..
Rogers 42, Marion 14- Mounties keep winning. More important, QB Cody Kirby remains healthy.
Bentonville 24, Columbia Hickman 21- Tigers almost blow another big lead but hold to win home opener.
Springdale 15, Alma 13- Late INT saves the day. Last year it was offense for the Red Dogs, this season the 'D' is coming up huge.
Southside 49, Conway 7- Impressive win for the Rebels. Considering how the Wampus Cats beat Bentonville last week. Wampus Cats, Wampus Cats, Wampus Cats. There, I just wanted to say it a few times... it's fun.
Rock Bridge 34, Har-Ber 8- Wildcats come back to earth against #1 team in Missouri.
Northside 35, Tulsa Science 0- It's hard to be scared of a team called the Fighting Protractors. Ok that's a joke, Kodi Burns is not.
Fayetteville 57, Russellville 35- That's 100 points in 2 games for Bulldogs. About as close as we might get to the 2005 Springdale show.
Van Buren 17, McAlester 15- Chris Hill gets his first victory with the Pointers. I believe he will turn this program around. Just give it some time.
Prairie Grove 16, West Fork 0- This one a bit of a shocker. Big win for Danny Abshier's club, who have no returning starters from a year ago.
Greenland 41, Lincoln 0- Speaking of shutouts, Pirates have yet to surrender a point this season. Yaaaaarrrr!!!!
Greenwood 49, Poteau 13- Bulldogs quietly jump out to a 2-0 start.
Siloam Springs 13, Stilwell 3- Not overly impressive, but Panthers are still 2-0.
Shiloh Christian 49, Gravette 26- Good luck stopping the Saints this season.
Union Christian 36, Magazine 24- Big congrats to first year program. Low numbers, big hearts. Good to see them get a win.
